The Water Powered Car, the Wave of the Future?

Believe it or not the water powered car exists today. There have been several cases where cars have been manufactured or converted so they use water as fuel as opposed to gasoline. The benefits of having a water powered car are many. A water powered car is more economical. Water is more abundant than oil and there is no shortage. Nor, is there a depletion of water as a resource in the country while means we will not have to go to foreign sources and possibly have negative political ramifications due to our dependence. Water is also a much cleaner running fuel source.

The benefits of a water powered car are obvious for economical, political and environmental reasons. When we are running a cleaner fuel source it means we have fewer emission issues. This means we stop damaging the ozone layer and live on a better, cleaner planet. Political maneuverings abound when it comes to negotiating the world of oil. Currently we depend on foreign sources for oil for the majority of our use. This would cease and the political issues surrounding our need for oil would be diminished as well. With today’s rising gas costs, everyone is concerned with a more economical solution to using gas. Many people are changing their driving habits and getting more fuel efficient cars but imagine what would happen if the vehicles on the road stopped needing gas altogether with a water powered car. You might be able to afford that vacation this year.

Currently, the way to get a water powered car is mostly done by making it yourself. There are conversion kits on the market and small, independent companies that are making water powered cars. While this is promising, it is not a viable solution yet for the general public at large. With the increased demand for economic and environmentally friendly vehicle solutions, though, the main car manufacturers are starting to take notice.

More research money is being put into developing affordable vehicles like the water powered car that uses this revolutionary technology. It seems inevitable that eventually the car manufacturers will get to a point where the water powered car is affordable and able to be mass produced in several styles, sizes and models that will be attractive to the general public. The water powered car may not currently be an affordable, viable solution for the every day person. However, it seems like it will be in the near future. A water powered car may just well be the newest technological advancement in society and it may come sooner than you might think so we may all benefit from it.
